Welcome
The ENCODE Research Applications and Users Meeting (ENCODE 2020) is going fully virtual and will commence morning US eastern standard time on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, and end on Friday, October 2 afternoon (EST). Oral sessions will be confined to morning and early-afternoon sessions (EST), and recordings will be available to maximize access by participants from around the world.
ENCODE 2020 is a unique opportunity for researchers at all levels to learn how to leverage the ENCODE Project’s ~15,000 genomic datasets to accelerate research in genetics, cancer, neurobiology, immunology, cell engineering and computational biology. The meeting will have a special focus on the collection of ENCODE 3 publications released by Nature in the last July issue. The agenda will include Keynote speakers, Scientific Sessions by ENCODE researchers, Workshops / Hands-on Sessions, and Talks selected from abstracts. Attendees are highly encouraged to contribute talks about the usage of ENCODE data in their research.
